Sydney Fringe Festival returns to the EQ with Fool’s Paradise and Fringe Kids
The Sydney Fringe Festival returns to the Entertainment Quarter from 26 August to 11 October 2026.
As the largest independent arts festival in New South Wales, Sydney Fringe presents more than 400 events across Greater Sydney each year. We are proud to welcome the festival back to the EQ for another exciting season.
This year’s program offers entertainment for every age. Fool’s Paradise will bring seven weeks of circus, cabaret, comedy and variety to two venues at the Entertainment Quarter. Then, during the spring school holidays, Fringe Kids will add two weeks of family-friendly fun.

Step into Fool’s Paradise, a dazzling festival destination curated by the award-winning Head First Acrobats.
Spanning two venues at the Entertainment Quarter, the Virago and the Bunker, the program showcases some of the best acts from Sydney Fringe Festival. Expect circus, burlesque, cabaret, comedy and variety throughout the season.
Get ready for jaw-dropping stunts, glittering performances and unforgettable entertainment. From gravity-defying feats to after-dark delights, Fool’s Paradise brings Fringe to life at the EQ.
Bold, brilliant and bursting with personality, it is the perfect destination for your next night out.
Before or after your show, grab something to eat or drink at the Entertainment Quarter. Choose from restaurants, cafés, markets and pop-up food stalls. The Fool’s Paradise bar will also return with drinks and snacks throughout the festival.

- 50-up: The Rewind – This rip-roaring circus cabaret swings, spins and struts through the unforgettable soundtrack of the 70s – Trapeze and circus and over 50’s.
- Adults Only Magic Show – Back and naughtier than ever, this late-night show delivers raunchy comedy, jaw-dropping illusions and plenty of mischief.
- Furys Fun Haus – a dazzling circus-inspired spectacle where fire, fantasy, and fearless performers collide.
- Hold – Hold is a contemporary circus show, which explores the very nature and value of whimsy.
- Interior Motives – is a study in care, resilience and the quiet strength required when things feel fragile.

- Love At First Bite – A gothique, queer Bridgerton-esque tale.
- Of Love & Loss – A circus dreamscape, inhabited by eccentric characters who wander and wonder; using movement and props to reveal the lost, the lonely, the joyous and the loved…

- Peter Pan: After Dark – seductive burlesque adventure, reimagining the classic fairytale through dance, circus and spectacle. Follow Wendy into a dangerous world of fairies, pirates, mermaids and suspense where nobody ever really grows up.
- Return of the Godz – The Gods are ready to raise hell! Expect gravity-defying acrobatics, outrageous comedy, heroic strength, and enough heat to make Zeus sweat.
- Rhythms in Motion – Witness an explosive fusion of elite Nigerian acrobatics, traditional West African dance, and mesmerizing fire magic in this high-octane cultural spectacle for all ages.
- Something Wicked – Join us in the depths of hell for a festival experience like no other. This 5-star rated show is back this Sydney Fringe and offers a host of award-winning burlesque and circus artists.
- The Big Top Drag Brunch – join RuPaul’s Drag Race Stars Hannah Conda, Etcetera Etcetera, Coco Jumbo and Vybe hosted by Sydney Drag Royalty’s Charisma Belle and Carmen Geddit for an afternoon on fun and frivolity!
- The Pink Pony Parlour – Saddle up for a night of unapologetic glitz, glamour and gasp-worthy cabaret.
- Tickle and Tease, a Comedy Cabaret – A wild comedy cabaret, the late-night laugh you needed. Expect rotating casts, big props and unapologetic chaos.
- Tutti Frutti Burlesque – Burlesque, drag, circus and cabaret led by disabled artists who are rewriting what bodies look like.
- Typo – Come with our writer on a journey through the writing process in this all-ages circus show.
- Wes Carr – The Springsteen Songbook: Unplugged – acclaimed singer-songwriter and former Australian Idol winner Wes Carr unveils his next major project: The Springsteen Songbook: Unplugged
Fringe Kids returns in 2026
Fringe Kids brings family-friendly shows to the festival before doubling the fun during the spring school holidays.
The dedicated two-week program will fill the Entertainment Quarter with music, magic, bubbles, science, circus and more. Little Fringers can discover plenty of giggles, surprises and gasp-worthy moments.
With tickets starting from just $12, Fringe Kids offers affordable entertainment for the whole family. Whether you are entertaining toddlers or school-aged explorers, there is something for every curious mind.
Shows for kids:
Enjoy family-friendly shows throughout the seven-week Sydney Fringe Festival season. Even more performances will join the program when Fringe Kids returns during the school holidays.
- All Star Circus – This family-friendly circus show brings world-class talent, huge tricks and plenty of laughs to the stage.
- Ben’s Magical Friends – Join best friends Ranger Ben and Fairy Melsa on a magical adventure full of colour, music and surprise. This family-friendly show is made for children aged 2 to 10.
- Captain Adventure Man – Join Captain Adventure Man for a brand-new underwater adventure bursting with silliness, imagination, and audience interaction!
- Creative Science: Mind Blown – Packed with biology, physics, space science and chemistry, it is a fun and interactive show for curious kids aged 3 to 12.
- Jurassic Down Under – Get ready to stomp, roar, and explore with Jurassic Down Under; the ultimate dinosaur adventure for all ages!
- SwashBuckling Circus – This isn’t your ordinary circus, it’s a pirate extravaganza.
- Tchocolatl – A blend of physical comedy, cultural storytelling, and interactive fun for audiences of all ages.
- The Flying Bubble Show – A meditative performance weaving bubbles, circus, storytelling and sound into a sensory tapestry of breath, beauty and heart.
- The Great Balloon Show – Take everything you know about balloons, add an award-winning entertainer, an 80s soundtrack, and twist that into a hilarious show for the whole family.
- The Glow Squad – Part concert, part circus, part dance party, all GLOW!
- The Greatest Magic Show – a jaw-dropping, laugh-out-loud spectacular packed with mind-boggling magic, hilarious comedy and larger than life fun – all wrapped around a powerful message for every child in the audience.
- Trash Test Dummies Circus -Tonight’s bin night and the Trash Test Dummies are on duty! A slapstick circus comedy takes the household wheelie bin to new heights, and delivers a dump-truck full of hilarity!
- Yelling at Children – Interactive circus/clown, spectacular, where the children are the show creating an infectious environment of pure joy.
Getting to the Entertainment Quarter
Getting to the Entertainment Quarter is easy, whether you’re arriving by public transport, ride share or car.
Light Rail: The Moore Park Light Rail stop is just a five-minute walk from the EQ.
Train: Central Station is approximately a 15-minute walk from the Entertainment Quarter.
Taxi & Ride Share: The recommended drop-off and pick-up location is Errol Flynn Boulevard.
Parking: The Entertainment Quarter has a 2,000-spot multi-storey car park open from 6.00am to 2.00am, 7 days a week. Wilson Parking is located on site at the Entertainment Quarter. Accessible parking is available. For more information head to here: Parking

The Entertainment Quarter has a 2,000 spot multi-storey car park open from 6.00am to 2.00am, 7 days a week. The maximum height clearance for the car park is 2.1 metres.
Covering non-event day parking – entering the carpark between 6:00am and 6:00pm.
