Iron Gate Tattoo Convention returns to Hordern Pavilion, Entertainment Quarter in Moore Park for its fourth powerful year, bringing another weekend of unbelievable talent, unparalleled energy and creativity to Sydney from Friday 6 November to Sunday 8 November 2026.
Presented by Iron Temper Supplies & Lotus Needles, The Iron Gate is returning stronger than ever after the overwhelming success of its last three conventions. The event continues to push boundaries, curate bold experiences and champion creativity across every form.
Over the last year, the team behind Iron Gate has carefully hand-picked some of the world’s best and most respected international tattoo artists and is bringing them to Australian shores.
Iron Gate Tattoo Convention: celebrating tattoo artistry
The Iron Gate Tattoo Convention has evolved from a celebration of tattoo artistry into one of Australia’s most anticipated cultural events.
The convention has become a meeting point for some of the most respected artists across Australia and around the world — a space where culture is shared, tradition is honoured and creativity continues to evolve.
Tattoo styles represented include Japanese/Oriental, traditional, neo traditional, realism, colour realism, black and grey, tribal, geometric, pattern work, fine line, Chicano, black work and anime.
With artists within each of these tattooing styles, Iron Gate aims to offer something for everyone.

The three-day convention takes place at Hordern Pavilion, Entertainment Quarter in Moore Park, Sydney, across Friday 6 November, Saturday 7 November and Sunday 8 November 2026.

Before You Visit
The Entertainment Quarter has a 2,000 spot multi-storey car park open from 6.00am to 2.00am, 7 days a week. The maximum height clearance for the car park is 2.1 metres.
Covering non-event day parking – entering the carpark between 6:00am and 6:00pm.
