Mary’s Hot Pizza at the Entertainment Quarter is the newest sibling in the Mary’s family. It brings Detroit-style squares and New York-style round pies to Moore Park.

Located right next door to the original Mary’s, this dedicated pizza venue marks founders Jake Smyth and Kenny Graham’s return to pizza. Importantly, the focus is on fast service, good value and bold flavour. Slices and whole pies are available for dine-in or takeaway.

Built for locals, families, gig-goers and sports fans moving through the precinct, Mary’s Hot Pizza welcomes you in for quick bites and big nights.

Detroit-Style and New York-Style Pizza

The menu centres around two iconic styles. Detroit-style square slices deliver a focaccia-style base with crispy cheese edges, meanwhile New York-style round pizzas are available by the slice or as whole 18-inch pies.

Slices start from $6 to $7.50. Whole pies stretch up to 18 inches for $39. The slice format makes it easy to grab something before a show, after a game or during a busy night out at the EQ.

Across both styles, the menu combines revived favourites with new originals. Expect stracciatella, nduja, anchovies, salumi and classic New York ‘roni cups alongside tightly curated ingredients sourced from respected producers.

A Sourdough-Led Dough Program

At the heart of Mary’s Hot Pizza is a carefully developed dough program led by Head of Culinary Jesse Warkentin. With experience spanning Odd Culture, Continental Deli and Vin-Cenzo’s, Warkentin brings a strong sourdough background to the kitchen.

The New York-style base uses natural sourdough and a blend of three flours, fermented for 36 to 48 hours. The result is pizza that’s lighter, crispier and easier to eat in volume.

The Detroit-style dough, made with 00 flour and olive oil, is baked in custom blue-steel pans to create the signature crispy cheese edge known as frico. At the same time keeping the centre light and airy.

Drinks to Match the Pizza

The drinks list leans into Mary’s familiar territory, featuring natural wines, beers and cocktails designed to pair easily with pizza.

Expect house-made limoncello, an olive oil fat-washed martini plus rotating weekly food and drink specials, including $10 prosecco. Updates are shared via the venue’s Instagram.

Mary’s Hot Pizza sits apart from its moody burger sibling, with a warmer, brighter and more energetic interior. It’s a considered evolution for the Mary’s crew, shaped by years of hospitality experience and a return to one of their earliest food passions.

Now open at the Entertainment Quarter, Mary’s Hot Pizza is serving slices, full pizzas and drinks late into the night.

Whether you’re breaking bread with friends, fuelling up before a gig at Liberty Hall or grabbing a quick slice after the game, Mary’s Hot Pizza delivers classic styles with a distinctly Sydney edge.

Getting There:

The Entertainment Quarter is only a 5 minute walk from the Moore Park Light rail stop, on a bus line and it also has its own 6 story carpark should you wish to drive and park with 2 hours free!

LIGHT RAIL
There will be additional Light Rail services available post-event to ensure a smooth departure.
The Light Rail (Moore Park) is a 5-minute walk from the event.

TRAIN
Central Station is a 15-minute walk from the event.

TAXI & RIDE SHARE
Driver Avenue will be closed for the duration of the event.
The best location for taxi drop off/pick up will be Errol Flynn Boulevard.

Accessible parking is available at the Wilson carpark.

Before You Visit

The Entertainment Quarter has a 2,000 spot multi-storey car park open from 6.00am to 2.00am, 7 days a week. The maximum height clearance for the car park is 2.1 metres.

Covering non-event day parking – entering the carpark between 6:00am and 6:00pm.
