Kaleo Way Down Under We Go Tour Sydney brings the celebrated Icelandic rockers back to Australia and New Zealand in February 2027, with the GRAMMY®-nominated band set to perform at Hordern Pavilion, Entertainment Quarter on Saturday 13 February 2027.

Frontier Touring is excited to announce the return of Kaleo, whose distinctive blend of blues-rock muscle, folk introspection and arena-sized hooks has taken them from their Icelandic beginnings to stages around the world.

Formed in Mosfellsbær, a suburb of Reykjavik, in 2012, Kaleo features vocalist and guitarist JJ Julius Son, drummer David Antonsson, bassist Daniel Kristjansson and guitarist Rubin Pollock. Since their formation, the band have built an impressive catalogue and developed a worldwide following.

Their breakthrough came with the release of 2016’s A/B, an album that delivered enduring songs including ‘Way Down We Go’, ‘All The Pretty Girls’ and ‘No Good’. Since then, Kaleo have amassed more than six billion global streams and more than 70 international Gold, Platinum and Diamond certifications.

The band are no strangers to major stages, with a live résumé that includes appearances at Coachella, Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo, as well as sold-out headline tours across North America, Europe and beyond.

A decade of A/B and a new chapter for Kaleo

Kaleo’s latest chapter follows the release of the A/B 10th Anniversary Deluxe Edition in June 2026. The Way Down Under We Go Tour celebrates the legacy of the album that helped launch Kaleo onto the world stage, while continuing the momentum of one of rock’s most compelling contemporary acts.

With four studio albums to their name, including 2025’s Mixed Emotions, Kaleo have established a sound that feels both timeless and contemporary. Their music has also travelled far beyond the traditional rock audience, becoming a fixture across film, television, advertising and gaming.

Few songs have made an impact quite like ‘Way Down We Go’. The track has amassed close to four billion streams worldwide and has become a cultural phenomenon, appearing in millions of TikTok videos and countless film, television and advertising campaigns. Kaleo have also featured prominently in major series including Yellowstone, The Morning Show, Grey’s Anatomy, Law & Order and Suits, alongside EA Sports franchises such as FIFA, Madden NFL and NHL.
