Jorja Smith, the acclaimed British singer-songwriter is coming to Hordern Pavilion as part of her upcoming Australian East Coast run, presented by Handsome Tours, Laneway Presents and triple j.

Jorja Smith will perform at Hordern Pavilion, Entertainment Quarter, Sydney, on Tuesday 9 November 2027, following the release of her third album, What Are The Odds, via FAMM / The Orchard.

The Sydney performance forms part of an Australian run that begins at Brisbane Riverstage on Saturday 6 November before arriving in Sydney and wrapping up at Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Saturday 13 November.

Jorja Smith: What Are The Odds

What Are The Odds is rooted in dance music, bringing together UK Garage, Grime, 2-Step, UK Funky, Soulful House and Afro House. The result is euphoric and propulsive while retaining the intimacy of Jorja Smith’s writing.

Across the album, Jorja explores friendship, grief, betrayal, loneliness, love and self-discovery. The 2027 Australian dates will give local audiences the opportunity to hear tracks including What’s Done Is Done, Alive and I Lied, You Lied live for the first time.

“This is music to make you move,” says Jorja. “This is a record for driving and vibing.”

Already awarded four stars by NME, What Are The Odds captures Jorja at her most confident. The album began with a loose conversation with longtime collaborator P2J following Little Things, before most of the record took shape across three instinctive, pressure-free studio sessions.

Across its twelve tracks, What Are The Odds pairs physical energy with some of Jorja’s most personal writing. For Life considers loving a friend through addiction, while Pretend confronts betrayal. The title track reflects on growing up in public.

The album also brings together notable collaborations. This City features grime legend Devlin’s classic verse from London City, re-recorded for the album, while Alive brings Jorja together with Wizkid.

Created independently through FAMM, What Are The Odds represents Jorja trusting her instincts while celebrating the artists, sounds and communities that have shaped her. The album places those influences firmly within the present and future.
