FKJ will see the acclaimed artist return to Australia and New Zealand nearly a decade after his last performances in the region, bringing the expansive world of Tyber to audiences through the dynamic, free-flowing performances that have become synonymous with his name.

Presented by Live Nation, FKJ performs at Hordern Pavilion, Entertainment Quarter, Sydney, on Wednesday 24 February 2027. Doors open at 7.00pm, with the performance starting at 8.00pm.

Soulmates arrives as the first glimpse into Tyber, a project capturing a period of personal and creative transformation following the release of FKJ’s acclaimed album V I N C E N T.

Written and recorded across multiple continents, Tyber reflects years spent navigating movement, solitude, collaboration and renewal. Sessions took place in London, Los Angeles, Paris, Brazil and Mexico, with each location subtly shaping the sonic identity of the record.

The result is FKJ at his most expansive and uninhibited. Across Tyber, groove-driven compositions sit alongside jazz-led instrumentals, sample-heavy explorations and more direct songwriting moments. Funk, alt-pop, R&B and psychedelic textures move seamlessly through the record while retaining a strong sense of cohesion.

The new single Soulmates embodies this spirit. Warm, immersive and rhythmically fluid, the track showcases FKJ’s instinctive approach to composition while providing an introduction to the wider world of Tyber.

“Soulmates” explores the balance between solitude and connection. As FKJ explains, the song reflects his relationship with spending time alone while recognising the importance of the people in his life.

FKJ returns to Australia 

Throughout his career, FKJ has earned widespread acclaim for redefining the boundaries of contemporary French electronic music. Often recognised as a pioneer of the New French House movement, he has developed a signature approach built around live instrumentation, improvisation, looping and richly layered production.
