The Entertainment Quarter will be busy this Friday 11th and Saturday 12th October – with around 10,000 people attending the Cold Chisel concert, plus additional gigs at The Hordern, Liberty Hall and across the EQ venues.
Fans and Patrons are urged to catch public transport / ride share as parking is limited and significant traffic delays are expected during the busy Friday and Saturday night peak.
Parking at the EQ can fill quickly, so please plan ahead of time. If you drive, you should arrive early, carpool with your group and expect delays on roads approaching the precinct. Parking and costing information can be found HERE
Reminder that the carpark will be delayed on exit, as everyone will try and leave at the same time. Please take a few minutes, stop past one of our venues, or stop past the merch stand – so you can spend some time exploring EQ before going back to your car.
- Public transport is the best way to get to Moore Park with frequent light rail and buses servicing the precinct. Visit transportnsw.info for more details and to plan your trip.
- Trains and Metro services run regularly to the city where you can connect with frequent light rail services to Moore Park. The Moore Park light rail stop is located a short walk across from the venue. Plenty of regular route buses also make stops along Anzac Parade and Oxford Street nearby.
- Consider walking between Central and Moore Park via Devonshire Street and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter Walkway to avoid the queues for transport services before and after the show.
- See our Moore Park transport and walking route map (pdf 550KB) to find your way.
If you’re catching rideshare, a dedicated pick up and drop off zone will be located on Moore Park Road near Oatley Rd. Expect delays before and after the event as large crowds arrive and leave neighbouring stadiums.
