The Sydney Family show has been coming to the EQ since 2010 and we’re looking forward to bringing you a spectacular event that once again celebrates all your favourite show traditions!

Whether it’s a bunny hopping competition, revving up for an action-packed motorcycle and bike show, cuddling a duckling, grabbing a showbag, or spinning yourself silly on carnival rides, this year’s show is packed with entertainment for the whole family.

The Show will be filled with stage entertainment, the all-new festive Easter Basket Zone, furry friends at the animal nursery, and heaps of carnival games to guarantee a great day out!

Getting here:

Catch the Light Rail?

Catch the light rail service to Moore Park on the L2 Randwick Line or L3 Kingsford Line to get within a short walking distance of EQ. The Moore Park stop is located on Anzac Parade just north of Lang Road. Services run every 5 to 10 minutes between Circular Quay and Moore Park, and every 10 to 15 minutes between Moore Park and Randwick or Juniors Kingsford, from 5am until 1am daily.

Catch the bus?

There are a number of a regular route buses that stop along Anzac Parade, Oxford Street and other nearby roads within short walking distance of EQ. Use the Trip Planner at transportnsw.info to plan your trip by bus.

Where is the taxi rank?

The Entertainment Quarter operates a managed taxi rank within the site from Errol Flynn Boulevard.

Where is there car parking?

Parking at The Entertainment Quarter is easy with the EQ Carpark. It offers 2000 car spaces, and a maximum vehicle height of 2.1m. You can also have your car washed and detailed while you’re out and about. For more information on car parking at EQ including rates, opening hours click here

Can I walk from Central Train Station?

It’s about a 25-minute walk from Central Station to EQ via Devonshire Street and the Albert ‘Tibby’ Cotter walkway.

Can I buy tickets at the gate or are they only available online?

To guarantee your spot we recommend purchasing in advance online, but some tickets will be available at the gate base on availability.

Who is defined as an Adult, Child or Family ?

• Adult – 16 years of age and older
• Child –  3-15 years of age
• Children 2 and under – FREE and do not require an entry ticket, but will require ride tickets if wanting to ride
• Family – Admission is for any 4 people of any age whether child or adult

Can I change unlimited rider session time?

You may change your unlimited rider session by emailing your change request to info@ofa.net.au.

Do I need to print tickets or can I show them on my phone?

You can print tickets or show them on your phone at the ticket box.  If showing on your phone, please have each QR code ready to be scanned once you reach the ticket box to ensure the most efficient experience possible.

Our weather policy – What if there is inclement weather?

Sydney Family Show is a rain or shine event, and we won’t let some light rain stop the fun. We recommend checking the local weather report in advance of your session and dressing appropriately.
