Sajjan Raj Vaidhya – LIVE in Sydney, right here at The Entertainment Quarter on 10th February 2025.
Sajjan Raj Vaidya is a New York City based singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer originally from Kathmandu, Nepal. His music is a symphony of expressive vocals, intricate metaphors and anomalous song structures arriving at the crescendo as a complete musical journey.
Sajjan first began publishing his songs written in his native language, Nepali, and then continued on to release his songs written in English. His genre, as the artist has often described it, is ever-changing. “My songs are simply products of my experimentation and my attempt to learn new music and grow,” he explains.
Sajjan first released his work publicly in 2014, with the release of his Nepali single ‘Aaja Matra’. His first major release arrived in 2016, with the release of ‘Hawaijahaj’, which was later followed by other major releases ‘Chitthi Bhitra’, ‘Hataarindai, Bataasindai’, ‘Sasto Mutu’, ‘Dhairya’, ‘Naganya Maya’, and ‘Mellow’ among many others
