ARIA CEO, Annabelle Herd, said: “Since 1987, the ARIA Awards have represented the pinnacle of achievement in Australian music. The past year has seen a huge number of homegrown Aussie talent making their mark locally and globally and we’re very excited to celebrate these achievements on 20 November at the Hordern Pavillion. We’re also tremendously grateful to all our partners and everyone involved in helping us give Australian music a global platform.”
Minister for the Arts, Minister for Music and the Night-time Economy and Minister for Jobs and Tourism, John Graham, said: “I am delighted to see the ARIA Awards return to The Hordern Pavilion, as we celebrate the 100-year anniversary of one of Sydney’s most loved live music venues. NSW is already the nation’s capital for recorded music but we want to elevate the industry’s role in our state’s story, which the ARIA Awards do each year by showcasing our world-class talent. I want to thank ARIA for their advocacy for the industry and for allowing our state to be part of that work.”
VP at Google Australia, Melanie Silva, said on behalf of YouTube: “There’s never been a more important time to spotlight Australian artists and their impact on the global stage. We are so incredibly proud to partner with the ARIA Awards for a sixth year, and to help showcase the incredible music coming out of our country. YouTube is where fans discover the sounds they love, and we’re honoured to amplify these voices, giving artists the worldwide platform they deserve. I hope everyone is as excited as I am to tune in on November 20 as we celebrate the best of Australian music, and stream the red carpet glamour live on YouTube.”
Stan Chief Content Officer, Cailah Scobie said: “Supporting local Australian talent is at the heart of our content slate and as the exclusive live streamer of the 2024 ARIA Awards for the second year running, Stan is proud to be the forum that provides millions of Australians the opportunity to celebrate our incredible music industry. We can’t wait to hit play on music’s night of nights with Stan being the only destination to watch the full show live and on demand.”
